we made some food at home. i believe some people call this "cooking." ive heard the word used, but i cant swear by its meaning.
i know - its hard to believe - two girls who cant tell the difference between a sauce pan and a colander, and dont own
either one. food is so cheap here that i order most dinners to be delivered or i go out to eat. but a colleague unexpectedly presented Sinead with a styrofoam cooler of seafood on ice, and there it was in our kitchen. so after staring at it for two hours while the ice melted, we set out to prepare it.
the question of whether these were king prawns (shrimp) or little lobsters remains a divisive one, but they tasted good!
additional thank yous to the rice cooking machine, who did most of the work, and to Izzy - for eating a late late dinner with us. cheers!
